Cold snap in Spain and the Valencian Community this end of August 2019

A cold drop as we say in the weather sweeps the center of Spain and should arrive at night in the community of Valencia.

In the community of Madrid, a city was caught in huge floods, streets turned into a real torrent of water, taking everything in its path even the cars on this Monday, August 26, 2019.

That event was in Arganda del Rey (Madrid).

The disturbance that crosses the country since Sunday night is expected to come out of Spain by the Valencian community, with its rains and especially temperatures in August worthy of the end of autumn.

These rains should sweep the entire community, from Castellon to Alicante and Torrevieja, passing through Benidorm, Calpe, Cullera and Denia. An end of August very surprising in this year 2019 for the tourists and inhabitant of the Spanish region.

The forecasts for the wind are still to be refined, but on the coasts it should blow quite strongly. The greatest caution is required.

In Murcia rainfall is expected to be lower than in the north.

The Baleares should be hit in the day on Wednesday unless the disruption falters this Tuesday, Aug. 27 in the Valencia community.
