Elephants on the highway in Spain

The accident took place around 16H00 this 2nd of April 2018.

A truck crashed today on the A - 30 at Pozo Cañada in the province of Albacete, towards Murcia.

Of the 5 elephants present in the truck, one was killed, 2 more wounded and 2 escaped.

The road was cut for more than 3 hours to evacuate elephants using a special crane to move them into a new truck.
