Fire in the center of Ibiza March 2017

The starting point is "Ses Feixes of Prat de Vila" in the city center of Ibiza.

A fire started on the island of Ibiza (Eivissa) today the 6 March 2017 around 1 pm, very quickly flames of more than 6 meters spread.

These great flames and the rapid progress of the fire is due to a very windy weather on the famous Balearic island. The fire wan near the Harbor of Vila (Puerto de Vila).

Difficulty for Firemens

The traffic was interrupted on the Avenue Santa Eulalia. The intense black smoke impedes the work of the firemen and the civil protection.

At 4 pm the level of fire was past from level 2 to level 1.

The fire can be seen from a great distance on a large part of the island.
