A 65-year-old British man had an absolutely crazy history on the night of April 6 to 7 o clock : he fell asleep in Marbella in his boat and woke up in Cadiz.

It is the daily newspaper Diaro de Cadiz that tells the story.

A maintenance officer of the city of Cadiz was alerted by the siren of a yacht of 7 meters in length by carrying out its work at around 5.50 in the morning. This one immediately alerts a patrol that finds that a boat is stranded on the small beach of the caleta of Cadiz in front of the baluerte de los martires.

Sleep between mediterranean and Atlantic

The firemen and the Civil Guard immediately arrived at the scene and found only one Englishman completely lost. He told his story:

Asleep the evening before in Marbella in the province of Malaga, his anchor has broken and he woke up there in the center of Cadiz on the Atlantic Ocean.

The stranded ship had to be monitored by the police because many people were curious ... Especially that the ship could be released only at high tide intervening at midday.

David Robert the owner of the Yacht was taken to a hotel in Cadiz to recover from his emotions.

We will not know more about this story because the British is rather discreet, which can be understood.

It is the exit of the United Kingdom is in march since March 29, 2017.

The European Union has just responded to mark the outcome of the negotiations between the United Kingdom and the countries of the European Community with its 27 member states.

Draft negotiation with the united kingdom

Indeed gathered in Malta European leaders agreed that negotiations could intervene from member state to other states not member :) That also implies the case of the borders?

The case of Gibraltar with the Brexit

As the two sides (the United Kingdom and the EU) are separated, it will no longer be the duty of the European Union to manage possible conflicts between some of its member states and other countries, ie between Spain and the United Kingdom.

Understand immediately that we are talking here of Gibraltar that the Spaniards would like to resume for a very long time.

It will therefore be up to Spain and the United Kingdom directly to discuss henceforth between them as was the case before the creation of Europe and the accession of Spain and the United Kingdom!

A leap back for the British who in fact were protected by this European union in all its territories including that end of southern Europe that is Gibraltar.
